The video is an ad for the giant web services company Baidu. This stop motion video illustrates the different services that Baidu offers. It was played at a major event in Beijing and used online.

- Artistic direction : No music, foley oriented to underline the "paper and plasticine" stop motion style

- JIT production : received everyday a couple of shots to work on, release day took place shortly after the end of the video shooting

This project is a 3 minute cinema theatre ad playing in 3D stereoscopic and surround 5.1 sound.

This project was really important to me as i was the sound recordist and editor in addition to be the sound and music superviser. I assisted the director Daniel Jeanette to communicate with the composer and the sound mixer in Beijing biggest mixing stage.

- went on ski slopes to record foleys

- advised the director all along the project on audio pipeline and music coordination

- assisted the sound mixer and helped communication between the sound mixer and the director

DaBaoGe (literally “a song you sing while you’re packing up”) is a bilingual music project producing independent, documentary-style music videos throughout Greater China. We’re not tied to any particular genre and we ask artists to perform in a location that you wouldn’t typically see them performing in. Where possible we aim to make music for an unsuspecting audience, and capture the energy, artistry and unpredictability of live performance.

Every film receives a hand-drawn treatment from Nini Sum of Idlebeats, who produces unique art prints inspired by each film as part of an on-going collaboration with DaBaoGe.
